"Join the annual NYC Outdoors Environmental Education Expo to discover programs, resources and opportunities available for NYC teachers, students and families from dozens of local organizations!
"Each year, this free event aims to showcase environmental education for New York City teachers and informal educators, in hopes that more children will have the opportunity to experience and learn about the natural features of our city.

Join us for the EEAC NYC 2025 Annual Meeting on December 4 at Solar One's new Environmental Education Center.

Attendees will experience the conference for the day, or spend the weekend with educators from all over New York State and beyond. Network with peers, attend workshops, and participate in group natural history outings, all while supporting outdoor education.

The Teacher Environmental Education Preparation (TEEP) project was established in December of 1999 as a partnership among the Environmental Education Advisory Council (EEAC), the Wallerstein Collaborative for Urban Environmental Education at New York University and the Council on the Environment of New York City (now GrowNYC). EEAC still coordinates the current version of the project.
